This printing machine is an allegorical representation of ‘higher learning’. The machine repeatedly prints the crest of the University of Saskatchewan (with the motto ‘Deo et Patrae’) in a sloppy, imperfect manner, and then slices the print off, allowing it to fall to the floor. It was shown along with the University’s guidelines for proper use of their brand identity..
